This introductory workshop is ideal for service providers and front-line agency staff who want to better understand the basics of family violence, or would like a refresher.

Participants will examine the types of violence, discuss the roles of power and coercive control, recognize barriers to support, and gain skills to more effectively respond to disclosures. Information on community resources will also be shared.

This workshop is online via Microsoft Teams. The link to this training will be sent out a few days prior to the event.
