People want to help, but aren't sure how. Let's change that.
This free workshop is part of our award-winning Keep it REAL campaign which gives informal supporters the tools and language to disrupt the cycles of violence.
Real Talk workshops offered by Sagesse and The Today Centre, are a guide to help us understand and talk about family violence. Learning how to talk about domestic violence isn’t fancy or complicated. Real Talk is just a real moment between two people; it isn’t about trying to fix things, it's about empowering change and bringing people together.
Real Talk is about:
Recognizing domestic violence,
Empathizing with the person impacted by the violence,
Asking them what they need, and
Listening without judgment.
