Establishing new connections

The Today Centre joined the West Edmonton Business Association earlier this year to build connections with our neighboring businesses. This September, they announced The Today Centre as their Charity of Choice for 2021/2022.

Home is meant to be a place of safety and comfort, but sadly this is not the case for many people in our community. Countless people suffer from abuse and violence by loved ones, sometimes suffering in silence. The Today Centre provides help and hope for individuals and families experiencing abuse.

The Today Centre’s expertise lies in family violence, providing inclusive and non-judgmental support to individuals who need help regardless of gender, ethnicity, country of origin, faith, culture, or sexual orientation. We also offer training to members of the community to recognize, respond, and support people experiencing family violence.

One of our programs, Safe At Last, removes obstacles that keep victims and their children in unsafe situations. As a donor of The Today Centre, YOU are making a difference in the lives of those individuals and children who deserve a life free from abuse.
