Keeping Safe Over the Holidays

The holidays can often be a difficult time for many experiencing family violence. There’s lots of time spent with an abuser, many services for help are closed, and many individuals may choose to wait until after the holidays to seek help or leave a dangerous situation in fear of “ruining the holidays” for young ones. At The Today Centre we mourn with those who spend the holidays afraid, anxious, and uncertain.
